The jar files may be run on either Windows or Linux operating systems.
Linux Instructions:
The jar files must be set as executable as follows:
Enter terminal. Type: chmod +x filename.jar
To run a java file from the terminal type: java -jar filename.jar
Associations can be made to file types by right-clicking the icon, going to properties, and selecting "Open With".
